Peter Attfield has been with Unilever since October 1999 and held a number of senior roles to his current role where he is Vice President – Leadership & Organisation Development and Reward Expertise - Global Business Units/Functions. Prior to joining Unilever he was the Regional Director for Latin America for Quest Worldwide – a global Management Consultancy specialising in the design and implementation of organisation change processes. He was with Quest for nearly 10 years in Australia, UK and Latin America. Prior to Quest, he had two and a half years with PA Consulting Group specialising in marketing strategy work with Financial Institutions. He also spent 10 years with Shell in Australia and the South Pacific in Finance and Administration. Professionally, Peter likes anything to do with mobilising people and organisations to change and improve. Peter went to University in Australia with majors in Economics, Finance and Statistics. Further education has included areas such as corporate strategy, leadership,communication, neuro-linguistic programming, personality typing and Strategic Organisation design. Peter is New Zealander by birth, lived in Australia for 21 years, has also lived in Vanuatu (a small island in the South Pacific), Chile for 5 years, Brazil for 3 years and the UK for nearly 8 years (in three separate stints). He is married with 4 children. He enjoys reading, live music, the theatre and (trying to) keep fit.
