Why is HR one of the largest networks on LinkedIn?
The more obvious reasons include: Building networks. LinkedIn is one of the largest job boards. Personal branding. Connecting with colleagues. Discussion groups and learning. Keeping tabs on old colleagues. There is plenty of sniper fire on HR departments with too much time on their hands/not adding value to the business.
On LinkedIn, HR “is” the largest networking group and the function accounts for one of the largest number of groups on LinkedIn – 4,051 groups!
As of Monday 23 November LinkedIn’s membership stands at 14,713,004.
